So you are doing a mosaic for the final. I have heard that people have used sponges to create like a "stamper" of sorts so they don't have to draw the mosiac every time you carve the design into the sponge and paint the make up on and stamp wherever you need the mosaic on your face. Not sure if it would work for your project but it's something to think about.
