Wednesday 10/20

Today we started drawing out our old people faces! I can not wait to do the make up for them on Friday, I feel like I am going to look like my great grandma Smith.

P.S. The discovery today was that I am not very good at drawing things I can not see..

Class 10/18

Today in class, made one side of our face anorexic, and one side of our face fat!  It was interesting to see the contrast.  As I did it, I made the discovery that the make up for fat is harder than anorexic!  I thought it would be the opposite.

Today in class, we basically cut our faces in half and stuck the same sides with each other!  They looked so weird! One looked like avetar, and one just looked chubby!

Class 10/13

Today in class we worked on our morgues.  When I first started working on it, I was thinking okay, I need corrective pictures, art pieces, ect.  But after being in class and seeing everything we can really do, I realized it can be anything! and i can not wait to finish it so that I can look at it in full!

Class 9/29

Today in class we did corrective for the first time. It was the first time I had done basic corrective with the Ben nye kit and green and yellow sticks. I wish it wasn't stage make up because I loved the way it looked on my face!

Class 9/27

Today in class we found out the colors for our foundation. I found out my natural color is a lot darker than I thought it would be. We also mixed our high light and shadow!

Class 9/22

Today we mixes colors with our ben nye kit. The first one I did was the natural colors that could be used for rouge, lip applications and other things like that. My favorite, however, was the colors for abrasions and bruises. They were gross and awesome at the same time!
